Site Supervisor oversees the overall operations of the San Andreas  preschool center working with a team of teachers.  Includes the supervision of teachers, implementation of curriculum, and adherence to California Community Care Licensing regulations as well as Head Start Performance Standards.  Works closely with families to support their goals and needs.  

The Early Childhood Program - Supports the development and growth of children and their families by providing quality child care, parent/child experiences, parenting education and individual family support services.

Our San Andreas or Valley Springs Site Supervisor works with the Children's Services Manager in the development of curriculum, classroom environments and development of lesson plans, individual learning plans, home visits and conferences. Mentors/coaches staff to improve individual performance and overall service provided at the sites. Manages staff scheduling & coverage, ensures compliance with screening & assessment requirements along with regulatory compliance.

Full-Time Position: 8 hours day/ 40 hours week. Part-year schedule

Salary Range: $17.36 - $20.26

  • Child Development Site Supervisor Permit
  • AA (or 60 units) with; 24 semester units of Early Childhood Education or Child Development 
  • 6 units of Administration
  • 2 units of Adult Supervision
  • 2 years of experience working with infants/toddlers and/or preschool age children within the past four years
  • A minimum of 2 years experience supervising adults
  • California Health and Safety Certificate

Special Requirements

  • Valid California Driver's License and reliable vehicle
  • Proof of current automobile insurance coverage 
  • Criminal background clearance as required by licensing agency and funders
  • Physical Examination, proof of a negative TB test, immunizations required by Community Care Licensing and current influenza shot
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, attend night meetings, and travel as agency business requires
