Site Supervisor oversees the overall operations of the infant / toddler center working with a team of teachers. Includes the supervision of teachers, implementation of curriculum, and adherence to California Community Care Licensing regulations as well as Head Start Performance Standards. Works closely with families to support their goals and needs.

Our Site Supervisor works with the Children's Services Manager in the development of curriculum, classroom environments and development of education plans, individual learning plans, home visits and conferences. Mentors/coaches staff to improve individual performance and overall service provided at the sites. Manages staff scheduling & coverage, ensures compliance with screening & assessment requirements along with regulatory compliance.

Full-Time: M - F 40 hours/week

Salary Range: $20.75 to $26.25

Requirements:

  • Child Development Site Supervisor Permit
  • AA (or 60 units) with; 24 semester units of Early Childhood Education or Child Development (Infant/Toddler must have 6 Infant/toddler units)
  • 6 units of Administration and 2 units of Adult Supervision
  • 2 years of experience working with infants/toddlers and/or preschool age children within the past four years
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience supervising adults
  • California Health and Safety Certificate
  • Valid California Driver's License and reliable vehicle
  • Proof of current automobile insurance coverage
  • Criminal Record clearance
  • Physical Examination, proof of current negative TB test, immunizations required by Community Care Licensing and current influenza shot. COVID-19 vaccine required
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, attend night meetings, and travel as agency business requires
